A girl weighing only 580 grams was born at 25 weeks. The baby was observed leukomalacia of the brain. This was the first herald that she would have health problems. The diagnosis of cerebral palsy was made immediately after discharge from the hospital. And when Safiya was six months old, doctors discovered epilepsy. Due to the increased epiactivity of the brain, Safiya was not accepted into rehabilitation centers. The specialists of the Chelyabinsk center “Sakura” were the first to carry out high-quality rehabilitation. Patimat brought her daughter there, who knew absolutely nothing. After the first course, Safiya learned to roll over from right to left and vice versa.

And the last rehabilitation became a turning point. The girl began to crawl around on her bellies, to raise her head more confidently. Syllables appeared in speech, and later words. Safiya began to develop. Patimat is raising her daughter alone.

From the income - the child's pension. Patimat cannot work - there is no one to leave the baby with. They don't have a home either. That's how they live. Or rather, they survive. Now Safiya will have another course of rehabilitation. For a single mother, this amount is unbearable.

Patimat turned to the “Insan” Foundation for help in raising funds for the child's treatment. Safiya is not yet sitting, not walking. Patimat hopes that over time her daughter will become more independent. Strengthened therapy can play a significant role in this. But this requires a lot of money. Patimat does not have them.
