Muslim was born earlier than usual. The baby spent 45 days in intensive care, then he was transferred to the Neonatology department.

Muslim grew up as a very restless child. At first, doctors blamed intracranial pressure for everything. But one day, at a massage session, the doctor carefully assumed the cerebral palsy.

Afizat, Muslim's mother, began to examine her son comprehensively. So they ended up in a psycho-neurological dispensary. There, during the EEG scan , epiactivity was detected. Muslim's tremors became clear. But the parents thought that he was simply afraid. By the year Muslim was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. Of the concomitants: structural epilepsy, delayed psycho-speech development, dystrophy and anemia.

Muslim, at 1.4 years old, can only roll over. He is trying to babble something, and recently he has become interested in toys, reaches for them, shifts them from hand to hand.

Afizat noticed these advances after the Voight Therapy. It was the only one of the procedures that the doctors allowed because of the epiactivity. Afizat thought that one course would be enough. But the epileptologist said that it was impossible to interrupt the course. It is complex procedures on an ongoing basis that will enable Muslim to overcome the harmful effects of illness.

But it costs a lot of money. Only Muslim's father works in the family. This money is enough for household expenses. And there are also expenses for examinations, for treatment, for special nutrition. In addition, Afizat traveled with her son from Derbent to every doctor's appointment in Makhachkala. Relatives helped. But it is not possible for the family to collect for a rehabilitation course.

Afizat was advised to apply to the “Insan” Foundation. She was very uncomfortable. But like any mother, she wants to have time to help her child.
