Hodgkin's lymphoma ranks 5th in the structure of morbidity in children and adolescents. The incidence of lymphogranulomatosis in Russia is 0.8 per 100 thousand children. Our little ward Ali was included in this number. The boy is only 4 years old.

A common consequence of lymphomas is frequent infectious diseases that are provoked by suppression of the immune system. A third of children are diagnosed with respiratory diseases. Therefore, when Ali did not subside high temperature, he was taken to the hospital. All tests confirmed that the boy had bilateral pneumonia. Treatment did not improve. And only when Ali had a full examination, they found out that it was Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Despite modern protocols, doctors face difficulties in treatment, which determines the high relevance of the problem of lymphomas in medicine. Ali also had difficulties, he had to be transferred to another drug. But when Ali's family couldn't pay for the medicines, donors helped raise the money. Ali has already undergone the sixth block of chemotherapy. Now the boy is on hormone therapy. He will have to travel to a Moscow clinic for radiation therapy. But the family no longer had money left, even to pay travel expenses and accommodation for the duration of treatment.

The family is in a difficult situation. There is no housing of their own, relatives themselves are in a difficult situation. Ali's father takes any job to provide for the family. Barely enough for the essentials. So they had to turn to the “Insan” Foundation for help.
